Kaua'i Community College, the only higher education institution on the island of Kaua'i, offers transfer-level liberal arts courses, Associate’s degrees, certificates, four-year and graduate degrees via distance-learning classes, as well as a variety of vocational and professional training programs for the local community and beyond.

Hawaii Tokai International College (HTIC) is a fully accredited, two-year college that accepts students from all over the world. Our students learn in a multicultural environment that promotes cross-cultural understanding and awareness. HTIC offers an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts, with certificate programs in Hospitality and Tourism, Peace Studies, and a Discover East Asia study abroad program. Students who are non-native speakers of English have a chance to hone their English language skills in our College Preparatory (academic ESL) program before joining the Liberal Arts degree program. Our programs operate on a quarter system with four 10-week terms per year. Upon enrolling in the Liberal Arts Program, students can earn their associate degrees in as few as five terms (15 months).
