Institution must be accredited by a nationally accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

Institution must be authorized by the Department of Homeland Security/ICE to enroll nonimmigrant alien students on F, M, or J1 visas using the Form I-20 (F, M) or by the Department of State using the Form DS-2019 (J1)

Membership is subject to approval by the Study Hawai’i Executive Board

Memberships are annual and valid for the calendar year beginning in January
