  • Representation in Study Hawai’i’s social media outreach efforts

  • Participation in Virtual Education Fairs with Study Hawai’i partners

  • Representation at our Exhibit booth at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Annual Conference & Expo

  • Participation in Study Hawai’i/DBEDT Education Promotion Mission trips such as to South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan

  • Access to speakers and presentations on how to improve international student recruitment at your institution

  • Participation in Study Hawai’i social and networking events for members

Study Hawaii Executive Board Members

Membership Criteria and Information

  • Institution must be located in Hawai’i

  • Institution must be accredited by a nationally accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

  • Institution must be authorized by the Department of Homeland Security/ICE to enroll nonimmigrant alien students on F, M, or J1 visas using the Form I-20 (F, M) or by the Department of State using the Form DS-2019 (J1)

  • Membership is subject to approval by the Study Hawai’i Executive Board

  • Memberships are annual and valid for the calendar year beginning in January

Membership Cost

Membership is a very reasonable $650 per year, so that all of Hawai‘i’s quality accredited institutions and programs can join the consortium. Membership in Study Hawai’i offers you the opportunity to multiply your own efforts to reach international students through collaboration with other schools and the state government.
