About Institution
Situated on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College (UHMC) is an accredited college that offers three bachelor of applied science degrees, a wide variety of associate degrees and certificates, as well as distance learning degrees through its UH Center on campus. UHMC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools & College.

Maui Language Institute
The Maui Language Institute (MLI) is an English as a Second Language (ESL) program that is part of UHMC. MLI is designed to engage international and local students with English language instruction for academic purposes and for professional advancement.
MLI offers an array of unique English learning opportunities. Regular Programs offer individuals intensive 6- and 8-week courses. Custom Programs offer organizations customized training for groups.
Services offered to MLI students include placement, orientation, and counseling for academic, cultural, and personal purposes. Students have full use of the UH Maui College facilities including the library, The Learning Center, student health center, and computer labs. Students are given email accounts and are welcome to participate in campus activities and clubs.
